Sigh...

During a recent power outage, It wasn't the lost breastmilk that made me cry, it was the lost freedom.

Back to square one...

I hear you 100%. I had 14 bags at 6oz each that were all I could think about when our power went out. Fortunately we got them into the deep freezer to stay colder and the power came back fast enough. But my MAIN thought was that I wouldn't be able to go do ANYTHING if they were lost. I can't pump 6oz at one time, which means if we go somewhere we HAVE to have a bag frozen. We had two brass band commitments this weekend alone, and then add running to that, not to mention something as silly as getting a haircut. And sure I could take him with me or go between feedings...but it just gets so complicated. I totally TOTALLY get what you're saying.

It makes me appreciate pumping, though, as much as I sometimes hate it. Our mothers didn't have something like that to help them out. I hope you replace your stockpile soon!! HUGS!!
